Friends Among the Nations
Friends Among the Nations (FAN) is a hospitality and friendship program for International Students, visiting scholars and their families living in Metro Atlanta and beyond.
Programs include the International Women's Club (IWC) and Speaking Non-stop About Culture (SNAC). These programs are designed to bring Americans and Inter- nationals together by exchanging ideas and culture through a variety of activities such as local trips, cooking classes, dinners, small group discussions and more.
We also provide a Free English Program to give internationals an opportunity to practice their English and learn about American idioms and expressions.
In addition, for those International Students, visiting Scholars and their families who may be interested in getting an understanding of the Bible, The Encounters Bible Study (Encounters) provides opportunities to have small group Bible Studies sensitive and open to people of all faiths.

International Women's Club
Welcome Ladies!!!
The International Women's Club (IWC) is a program designed to bring American and International Wives together. Come and make new friends as we exchange ideas and culture through a variety of activities that will encourage conversation and sharing. Programs includes cooking and craft parties, trips, discussions, and more.
Free English Program
FAN provides a number of free English small group classes that provide the international who is trying to improve thier English conversational abilities. These classes are meant for those internationals for whom English is a second language.
Basic Conversation
This small group class is meant for those can read and write, but struggle with speaking and also understanding spoken English. Learn and start speaking in a small group setting while building friends.
American Idioms
Finding it hard to understand your American friends, movies or TV shows? This small group class is designed to help you understand American cliche's and idioms.
Speaking Non-stop About Culture (SNAC)
SNAC or Speaking Non-stop About Culture is designed to help advanced intermediate students build their vocabulary and develop their conversational and listening skills.
Encounters Bible Study
Friends Among the Nations sponsors many different events as they relate to the discussions of spiritual condition and foundation of mankind and their impact on culture. These events include sponsoring speakers, dialogue and discussion events and small group Bible Studies. These events are open to people of all faiths, whether Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddisht, Atheist, Agnostic, Jewish or Skeptic. These events and classes are sponsored to help the International Student, visiting Scholars and thier families understand the religious foundation of the American Culture and its roots in the family of Abraham.
